How to share an AirTag with children

Hi,

with iOS17 we finally can share Airtags, which is great. Finally my wife an I can use the Airtags on our car keys and also can switch them without the pesky stalker warning.

However I can't share the car keys Airtag with my Kids. While they are not of legal age to drive a car I still think it would be great if they would be able to track the car keys. I can invite them from my phone but they never receive the invitation.

Likewise the kys of my kids have an Airtag on them too. For them the option to share does not even exist. So children are locked out from this feature.

We'd like to share all Trackers across Family - including the kids. Please tell me this is just a bug that'll be fixed soon. We waited long enough to finally share the tags.
