My laptop goes out of battery very quickly and runs in the background when it is turned off, it becomes very hot and starts to steam and loses completely its battery. What should I do?

Since you've noticed steam, it’s possible the battery is dangerously overheating or leaking. Do not use the MacBook further. Take it immediately to an Apple Store or authorized repair center for inspection.
