Apple T2 Chip bricked Touch Bar and other things
Hey, so recently my MacBook's Touch Bar, Ambient Light Sensor, something called "Headset" and the T2 Controller lost their Serial Number - which resulted in those things being useless and not activating anymore.
The Touch Bar is sort of necessary for this MacBook so that really sucks. I got a 2019 MacBook Pro (A2159).
The old screen shattered so I replaced it with another ORIGINAL screen.
Camera and Screen work just fine now. I also connected the old screen to test, everything remains the same - No Touch Bar or any of the other things without Serial Number work. The screens aren't paired anyway from my understanding.
I tried resetting the SMC and NVRAM. I also talked to Apple support and they told me to go see a technician, which could get quite expensive just to reset the T2 chip.
Not sure if there aren't any other options I could try first, so that's why I am asking here.
