Mac OS 26.1 Bluetooth speaker problems

Ever since upgrading to OS 26.01 (BIG mistake!) my Bluetooth speaker is experiencing intermittent breakup problems or popping. This iss a known issue on Reddit where various solutions involving using Terminal seem to be temporary and not particularly useful. Upgrading to OS 26.1 has not resolved the issue. This is the latest in a whole series of problems with the Tahoe OS upgrade. If you are thinking of upgrading, don't!
