How do put the date and time on my photos. I need to send a photo showing the date and time.

The camera app on the iPhone cannot put the date and time stamp on the photo. But all photos taken with the iPhone show the date, time and location in their metadata. Someone who needs this information should be able to read it from the photo either using their iPhone photo app or another app or application that supports reading metadata.
