How do I begin to use an Apple Music sharing plan, after already having an individual subscription?

Family Sharing allows for up to six family members to share purchases, an Apple Music Family subscription, and several other services. One adult in your household —the family organizer— chooses features for your family to share and invites family members to join, using their Apple ID. The organizer should get the Apple Music Family subscription.
If you are the organizer, then you can begin by changing the subscription type. You will be guided through the rest.
Other group members have to accept the invitation. Any pre-existing Apple Music subscription for them will be canceled automatically, and expire at the end of their current billing cycle. They do not subscribe themselves; they get access to the service by being part of the group with the Family subscription. Everyone gets to keep their personal iCloud Music Library and playlists.
