There is $10 on my Apple ID on my phone and it won’t let me redeem it to pay for my monthly Apple Music subscription. It says I need to use my camera to put in the code on the back of my gift card, but the gift card is on my phone in my apple wallet. How do I apply it to pay for my subscription?

If you have Apple ID account balance (like a store credit), then that has priority over other payment methods. Have the needed funds ready as account balance on the due day, and it will be used for subscription fees.
