Lost server connection on my iPhone
Came back from vacation and suddenly cannot get phone to update emails.
Message says cannot connect to server.
Username and password are correct.
All work on MacBook, just phone that is not working.

I'm sorry, but I've seen nothing but troubles from AOL Mail. Try removing the account, powering the phone off/on, then adding the account again. Something happened with the account, or it changes something when you are in a different location. It may use a different server when you were on vacation.

Are you connected to wi-fi? Are you connected to cellular data, and while on vacation, did you possibly turn off cellular data, or cellular data roaming? If you are on cellular data and it is on, make sure that you have Mail turned on for cellular data.
Are you connected to your home wi-fi? Is that the exact error message you are seeing, or is there more to the message? Do you have more than one email account on the iPhone? Did you possibly use a foreign SIM in the phone while on vacation?
Yes, connected to Wifi and no changes to cellular data at all.
Sent and received all emails without incident while on vacation and through airports, etc.
Yes. wifi signal is fine.
Message: username or password for imap.aol.com is incorrect
All worked fine until last Thursday.
