There doesn't seem to be a forum for questions about the Support forum, but here goes.

When I (eventually) get logged in to iCloud and I list My Devices under iCloud Settings it shows my iMac, mu iPad and my iPhone. So far so good. When I write something up to post in one of the forums, the question "What device is this about?" lists an old MB Air I gave to my daughter. Before giving it to her I signed out of iTunes and wiped the HD, before reinstalling the OS and setting her up with her own administrator account. So why does it show up in my What is this device about?" list? How do I update this website to not show it?

Try logging out and quitting iTunes, then re-open iTunes and log back in.

The plot thickens. Thanks to den.thed, I followed the lead and got to iTunes Store in the Music app. Under Manage Devices I found listed my iMac, my iPhone, plus three other older iPhones / iPads I haven't had in years, dating back to 2014. I removed them, leaving just my iMac and iPhone.

The old MB Air was not listed. And interestingly my new iPad Pro is also not listed. I bought it and sync'd it using the cable less than 2 months ago. It's been listed under Finder | Locations since then. After discovering it wasn't listed in the Manage Devices, I removed it from the Finder | Locations Sidebar. Plugging it in to the cable doesn't get it back in the Sidebar nor under Manage Devices. How do I get it under Mange Devices? And back in the Sidebar list?

Ok. I found my old MB Air listed under Settings | Apple ID on my iPad. It's gone.

I discovered had not set the slider to automatic downloads for music and apps on the iPad. My bad. I have now set the sliders to automatic for music and apps. And the iPad is now listed under Manage Devices, however it is listed with a 30 day expiration. Any idea what that is about?
