redeeming gift in email

Hi I sent my daughter a gift in email for itunes. How does she retrieve it? it says she has it, but when she redeems it does not go to her ipad.

Did you send her an App Store/iTunes Gift Card?


Gift cards redeem


Gift Card - can’t redeem


After redeeming the card, have her try signing out of the App Store/iTunes and back in to see if that refreshes the account balance.


If necessary, contact iTunes Support. Either use the form or scroll to the bottom of the page in the 2nd link. Follow through the screens to get a chat or telephone option.
