Saving exporting keynote slides as high resolution images

Hi,

I am unable to save the keynoteslides I have created as images with 100 ppi resolution. It gets saved as 72 ppi as default which is not a high resolution.

  • Resolution of computer images are measured in pixels, not ppi  (pixels per inch)
  • The 72ppi value is a theoretical measurement of the display screen connected to the computer it has nothing to do with the resolution of the image file
  • To find out the resolution of an image, open the image file in Preview app in the Applications folder, go to Tools > Show Inspector and read the value against image size

To create high quality exported images from Keynote:

set the Slide Size in Keynote (Inspector > Document > Document > Slide Size; to match either the display resolution of the Mac, (Apple Menu > About this Mac > Displays tab) or to the pixel dimensions of the imported photos
