Reset parental password for iphone

My son has iPhone 6s and I forgot the password to my parental controls. How do I reset the password to his phone

You don't. You have to restore the iPhone to factory and set it up as new. You cannot use a backup. See this, Use parental controls on your child's iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch - Apple Support
