iPhone 8 portrait mode?

When the new iPhone SE has a portrait mode, even with the same camera as my iPhone 8, is there some chance that portrait mode will be added to 8 too?

I said Portrait Mode is available only on iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, iPhone XR, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, iPhone X, iPhone 8 Plus, and iPhone 7 Plus.

Taking a selfie in Portrait mode requires iPhone X or later. Learn how to identify your iPhone.

I am sorry I did not understand it earlier.

The reason that the iPhone 8, 7 and SE doesn't have Portrait mode is because it doesn't have dual cameras. The dual cameras can be found on other iPhone models, such as the iPhone 7 Plus, the iPhone 8 Plus and the iPhone X and the iPhone XS Max and iPhone 11 and later models

Now you have the answer; It can never have Portrait mode unless the hardware is changed.
