I have two AirPods with two separate connections and one case. Can I get them to connect together?

I broke my left airpod so I bought a new one on Ebay. It is the same generation and when i connected it to my case it came up as a seperate connection. So now I have two airpods with two seperate connections and one case. Can i get them to connect together??
