Motion starts 20 new projects and is so slow, I cannot use it

Whenever I open Motion 5.4.5 it opens more than 20 new projects at once and it is so slow that I cannot work on it. (After Effects runs smooth on my computer) - i have a iMac17,1 - Quad-Core Intel Core i5 32Gb RAM. I made a screenshot, it is awful, I cannot continue my work. I already tried to throw away the prefs and change the cache.

Purchsed Apple motion but it's very slow I have just purchased apple motion 5.5.6 from the store on start up it takes 15-30 minutes to start running really slow, and when I try to publish it keep spinnin without finishing. I have the latest macbook pro and it should be more that good for it, I tried restarting and uninstall and reinstall. nothings helped. any suggestions ?

Apple Motion Objects suddenly disappear When working on a project, suddenly the project’s objects (video, images, text) stop appearing in the Canvas. While they appear normal in the Timing pane, in the Project Pane the toggle switch is dimmed—though it is checked. Clicking on the toggle does nothing. When I replace the video clips and or add new objects (from different sources) the problem remains. Strangely, there’s one video clip in the middle where the video image still appears, though the sound doesn’t work. I exported the project file and the only thing that appears is the unaffected clip (no sound). So far I have: Deleted preferences Restarted the MacBook Reinstalled Motion (twice) Saved the media to the file and moved it to just the MacBook (normally I use a display and external drive) I’ve had two files show this behavior. The others seem okay, but I’m reluctant to work on them in case they take on the same issue. I worried about losing more data/time. I’m running: MacBook Pro 13” 2019 Ventura 13.5 (latest update) Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you! Here's screen shot of the Project pane:

Motion 5.5 spinning beach ball I've just installed Motion 5.5 on my new Mac Mini (2018) and as soon as I hit 'Continue' at the "What's New in Motion" screen I get the spinning beach ball. Motion goes no further than the "What's New" screen. Here's what I've done so far, with no success: rebooted uninstalled / rebooted / reinstalled Motion restarted Motion with Option+Command to reset preferences Cleared the NVRAM Boot in Safe Mode (Motion won't work in Safe Mode) Disconnected all none essential devices and repeated all previous steps Mac Mini (2018) 3.2Ghz 6-Core Intel Core i7 32Gb RAM Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB I can't attach the log file as it's too big. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Delete Motion preferences.

To delete preferences, hold down command and option while starting Motion and click Delete Preferences.
