I don't have a battery health button on my 10.15.5 system.

I am using a MacBook Pro (Retina, 15-inch, Mid 2015). Is a newer MacBook Pro required for this feature to appear?

Does your Mac have Thunderbolt 3 ports?

According to Apple, Battery Health is only supported on notebooks with Thunderbolt 3 ports:

Battery health management is on by default when you buy a new Mac notebook with macOS 10.15.5, or after you upgrade to macOS 10.15.5 on a Mac notebook with Thunderbolt 3 ports.

Yes, that's the feature as listed by Apple but the health button is not on my settings screen at all. So no way to activate or deactivate it.

No, mine is older. Thanks, that explains why this setting is missing. Would have been a nice feature.
