Hi, I have iTunes on my desktop and I'm trying to authorize that computer on the iTunes account and its saying I already have 5 devices authorized when I don't.

The five devices will be old computers that you no longer have and (or) computers that were re-built (Windows was re-installed).

The solution is to go into your account (where you saw the "five computers are authorised") and use the option to Deauthorise All. Once you have done that, you will be able to authorise the current computer.
