Phones sold for different countries/regions support different LTE bands. There is no "international version" of the iPhone. There are different versions for different regions.

In addition, some features are disabled or unavailable on devices sold in regions where laws require.

Examples as FaceTime on devices sold in the Middle East, FaceTime audio on devices sold in China, and the ability to silence the camera on devices sold in Japan and South Korea.
