Suspicious activity calls

They are indeed bogus.

Apple does not make such calls.

All such calls are scams from criminals attempting to steal your personal and financial information. The callers will often use number spoofing to pretend they are calling from a legitimate business. The correct course of action is to hang up on them, repeatedly if needed.

Yes, you could report, but I wouldn’t hold out much hope of it making much of a difference. Unfortunately, such calls could be coming from anywhere in the world, and be outside the jurisdiction of a specific county’s regulators.
