Using an Apple as a watch

can I use an apple watch as just a watch without a cell phone?

You would be better off getting a FitBit watch if you digital smart watch functionality. If you just want to tell time, then Timex, Casio watches. There are many other much less expensive watches that will tell time.


But if you want Apple Watch "Smart" functionality, you need an iPhone.


If you are an Android users, then look at some of the Android watches. And like I said, FitBit is making some interesting smart watches.
