Hi do I get rid of the square clock in the center of my iPhone home screen?

This is a screenshot of my iPhone. I think I accidentally double clicked the clock in the upper left corner and this appeared and I can’t get rid of it. I have no idea what you mean by jailbroken?

Ha! No need to be embarrassed.

I did find a couple of other threads that mentioned it (which suggested restarting might work) but none of them gave any clue as to what it was or how it got there.
