I setup a parental password on my son's iPhone 6s but don't remember what it was. How can I unlock the phone? Is there a way to disable the password and not have to lose everything on the phone? Thank you!

Thank you for your quick response. The password is not the password for the locking the phone but it’s the password for the parents to restrict the kids from loading or doing things on the phone without our permission. We know how to unlock the phone but it’s almost like the admin password for the phone that we need. Would you know how to unlock?

I understood what you said, proceed with the 2nd link I provided and wipe the device to remove the parental guide.
Restriction/screentime/passcode all falls in the same category when you forget the code.
