If I can't hear the caller on iphone x

When I make or receive a call, I can't hear the voice of the person I'm calling. Speaker phone works fine, just not the normal call function.

iPhone X, iOS 13

Yes... tried the force restart...my next move is a factory reset, but I think it might be a loose wire or something. Nothing happened to just make it stop. I literally made one call and it worked, the next call I couldn’t hear the person, but they could hear me fine. 😩 hopefully I’m not in the market for a new phone. Paid mine off LAST month... so you know it had to break 🤮

Have you tried to Force ReStart your iPhone X to see if that solves it? If NOT then here is how-

Force Restart the phone:

Press and quickly release Volume UP button
Press and quickly release Volume DOWN button
Press and Hold the SIDE button until an Apple logo appears then release the Side button (Can take up to 20 seconds. DO NOT release Side Button when invited to Slide Power OFF)
