Buying new iPhone

If I buy a phone through the Apple store and pay for it through them will it have any affect on my phone bill with carrier?

It should not. Your carrier would have no bearing on how you buy a new iPhone when done directly through Apple.

You will need to contact your carrier to get service on the new iPhone though. Or at least move the sim card from your old phone to the new one assuming they use the same size sim.

Your carrier should not change your current service plan or charge you more just because you have a new phone though.
