Has there been a resolution to this? Watch series 5 used to run ok and in the last few months the battery drain is awful.
Make sure if you use podcasts to TURN IT OFF on your watch. If you subscribe to a lot of podcasts, your Apple watch will download them on its own too. I turned this off and it made fairly large difference.
