I was wondering if I was to purchase an iPad with AppleCare+ from the UK could I have it mailed to the UK from another country for a repair without physically bringing the iPad to the store?

It is my understanding that AppleCare+ can only be used in the country (or the administrative region) in which the cover was purchased.
For example, AppleCare+ purchased in the US is limited to the US - whereas AppleCare+ purchased within the UK is valid anywhere within EU Member States (or at least, that was the case prior to Brexit).
