Green Tint on my iphone x

There is a green tint on my iPhone X along with a permanent green/black bar on top right side of my display. It came out all of sudden. It kept disappearing after some time and comes back again. Clearly this is a software issue since Apple acknowledged it. Fun fact is that even though the green bar persistent and visible, the green tint is visible in low brightness or dark mode. Am out of warranty and is apple intentionally doing this ? Cozz they are known for such bad practices in the past. Iam getting helpless and keep waiting for updates where none worked. Actually in some update ios destroyed the display. What can i do now. I know that changing the display of a 2.5 year old Iphone for a bigger cost is ridiculous and it might wont fix it as i have seen many new iPhone users also experiencing this.

I, too am having the same issue. Out of nowhere, I got on my phone and it started blinking with a green tint and I restarted it. Now, even though it only blinks when I lock + unlock it, there’s still a green tint when I put it on low brightness and I also have a permanent green mark on the top.

Also, Apple is claiming only the iPhone 11 and 12’s are affected by this but I have an iPhone XS Max and it happened to me.

I don’t know what happened, but mine suddenly went back to normal. The green tint on the right side and the solid green on top completely disappeared. At first my phone flickered a little bit and back to normal for 2-3 seconds before went green again. It happened twice. Around 1-2 hours later, i was using it then I realized the green tint had disappeared. It has been more than 24 hours since it got fixed. I’m still worried it might happen again though, since the green tint came out all of sudden before. So does it mean it’s a software issue?

Well you aren’t aware yet I’m the second person within this chat with an iPhone X to say this happened to my phone. I’m having the same exact issue with my phone as everyone else and it happened out of nowhere as well. It’s not an issue caused by me. Also, you have poor customer service skills and come off as very rude. It’s really off putting.

I have a MI note 5 pro which I brought 1 year before my iPhone X, it fell from 1st floor, the glass was broken but the phone was still working like before, it also had multiple software update, also I rooted the device and flashed multiple custom rom, that strain on hardware which you are mentioning while software update, looks like its only for apple, because my iPhone X had this green tint and now I am back to my mi note 5 pro. Apple should stop selling such delicate phones or should mention while selling that "Hey we have this amazing phone with A10 bionic chip faster than ever blah blah % faster but software update can put a strain on your phone and it can break". Apple is losing its quality reputation.

had this exact same issue last day, and i am honestly surprised to see that many people are having this exact issue.

i seriously have no idea on how it came, the situation is very similar for most of the people. affording a new display which costs about 26k INR is ridiculous. it happened after I did my update to 14.7.

if someone have any solution please help

(it turned normal twice and the green pixels of the side of the notch is persisting its flickering around dark areas)
