When I try to use Home Sharing on my iphone to access my Macbook's itunes library, it starts to connect, then it (Music Library) crashes on my phone. Home sharing is enabled on my macbook and phone. What gives?
all O/S are up to date.

macbook: 10.15.6

Specifically, were you able to delete the app and reinstall it? Did you try restarting your iPhone?

I've tried both suggestions and neither work.
I open itunes > click on Home Sharing> click on my library> then the app crashes. I've force quit it, restarted my phone and the same issue occurs.
I am having the same issue.
i spent several hours on the phone with apple support and they said they are escalating this issue and will call me back.
i see many others on the forum having the same problem.

the Music version on my macbook is 1.0.6.10
Yes, I followed all the steps including offloading and re-installing iTunes/Music and it still crashes when trying to connect to my music library on my macbook pro via Homesharing.
