Broken iphone

the screen of my iphone is not working after I smashed it in an accident. Now the screen is not working and the iTunes doesn’t recognise my phone either.How do i do my back up? How do i restore my phone?

If you already have a backup, you can restore from backup once your iPhone is fixed.

If you do not have a backup, you can re-download those apps you have (if available),

Contacts, calendars, ... etc. and things you have on iCloud will auto populate.

First, you need to get the screen fixed.

The cost of the new screen is too expensive so i claimed my insurance and they gonna replace the phone but I need to do that first and don’t know how to do it
