Up arrow not working

Recently, my up arrow on my MacBook Pro is not working. I purchased my MacBook Pro in Jan this year. Im not sure what to do or why this is happening.

Arrow turned into plus sign on Macbook My cursor arrow changed into a plus sign and I can’t get it back to an arrow. It turns back into an arrow over the toolbar but when I click on anything (like clicking to restart or shut down) it turns back into a plus sign and doesn’t do anything. So I’m stuck, even can’t turn it off. This happened after I looked at and took a screenshot of a map. I was spreading my fingers trying to enlarge sections of the map. When I spread my fingers, blue dots forming a rectangle appear. How do I get my arrow back?

Up Arrow Key Won't Work on Macbook Air, Late 2017 My up arrow won't work on it's own, but it will work with command. The key seems to be physically fine. Did I do something in settings? I am using macOS Mojave.

This is concerning the keyboard issue. It would be wise to let your MacBook Pro be checked by an Apple Service Desk or an Official Apple Service Provider. Something in the mechanism of a laptop cannot be fixed from distance.
