Why it takes so long to update?

My iPhone has been updating since 10:30! Why does it take that long?

Where to Things Stand?

Is there a progress bar? If so, how much more do you have left to go? Or is everything all set?

Update Issues:

Are you updating over Wi-Fi? Or through your computer? If updating directly through Wi-Fi, then it would make sense, being that so many resources are being used on the iPhone alone. So, I would have connected it to a computer (Mac or PC), if an available option, and opened iTunes to update it. If that is too slow, then I would assume you have far too much installed on your iPhone while this update is occurring.

So, to Perform an Update, Refer to the Following:

A. Disable Cellular:

It will not update with Cellular enabled. So, if Cellular is enabled, disable it, then proceed with the update.

B. Update an iPhone:

Update your iPhone using:

  • the iPhone itself
  • Mac, or
  • PC, even

How to do so....

Two Major Steps: - Backup then Update

1. Backup First: Make a backup of your device using iCloud or your computer

2. Then, Update Using these Links:
