Does a trade-in rebate automatically go to the same card that was used to pay for the new machine? Or can you get the trade-in rebate through a different method?

Let's say I pay for new machine with card A, but I want the rebate to card B. Is this possible, or will the trade-in rebate automatically be put on card A?

There are many variables that can best be answered by Apple Support people as rkaufmann87 suggested. However, most credit card agreements prohibit this type of transaction. Credits need to be applied to the card that was used for charges. If a merchant were to do otherwise, it would be a violation of their credit card agreement with American Express, Discover, MasterCard or VISA.
