How do I find my Airplay password?

I will elaborate a bit more.
AirPlay can have a password, but doesn't need one. You can turn that requirement off, if you like. If you set a password, then only users that know the password can stream to your screen.
An AirPlay password is different and separate from the pairing PIN code (4 digits).
For users of the Apple TV set-top box: You can look up which password was set, by navigating your Apple TV device: Go to Settings, then select AirPlay, then select Allow Access, then look what it says in the Password row. A short notation for that would be: Settings﹥AirPlay﹥Allow Access﹥Password﹥…
Copy the password into your AirPlay streaming device (iPhone, iPad, or Mac), when asked.
Official Apple documentation on this feature can be found here:

- If you turn off that password requirement, and then activate it again, then a new random six digit password will be generated.
- The password that was generated can be edited into anything you like, if wanted.
- Your devices should remember the password. You would enter it once per device. Until you change the password settings.
For users of the AirPlay-enabled TVs: I don’t know for certain, but I presume that such TVs have settings where this can be set.
