Phone calls saying my iCloud account has been compromised

I have received several calls today to my IPhone with a message saying the call is from Apple Security telling me my ICloud account has been compromised and wanting me to press 1 to be connected to Apple Security.

The calls are every 15 minutes from a different number every time.

Are these calls legitimate?

No, they are not "legitimate." Apple will never "cold call" a customer with that, or any other information. You can safely ignore the calls/block the numbers.

They are not legitimate.

Apple does not make such calls.

All such calls are scams from criminals attempting to steal your personal and financial information. The callers will often use number spoofing to pretend they are calling from a legitimate business. The correct course of action is to ignore the calls or hang up on them, repeatedly if needed.
