El Capitan installer is damaged, now what?

I tried to reinstall El Capitan on my mbp like before but now it says it is not possible. installer is damaged. Now what?

Delete the current El Capitan installer, and empty the Trash. Using only the Safari browser, visit this link to download El Capitan again. It will likely go to your downloads folder, and when you run that .dmg, it will then install the familiar upgrade installer in your Applications folder.
