Does Apple ever call to report suspicious activity on my iCloud account?

I guess that this person could have somehow followed me if I had used another computer or laptop to capture my login to check my account! It’s a good thing that I don’t have either one.
I received a call claiming that I had suspicious activity on my iCloud account.He kept asking if I had a computer or laptop and I said no repeatedly, then he just hangs up. Does Apple ever call in this way?
