App Store is not accepting my fingerprint for downloads

Can anyone help me understand how come the App Store isn’t accepting my fingerprint and allowing me to download apps anymore? I choose the app, click on ‘Get’, enter my Touch ID, and then it just circles and the ‘Get’ comes back? I attempted to do some research online and did the hard restart, reset the phone, reset my Apple ID.... none of which worked! Hoping someone on here can help 😢🤞🏾 🙏🏾

Is it working with your passcode?

You can use passcode inlace of Touch ID. Please try. Then you will know where the issue is.
