iCloud shows backup full but backups don't exist

I am trying to clean up my data in iCloud. My account shows 4.2 of 5 Gb used for backup. But when I go to Manage Storage or System prefs on my devices or mac, no backup are available to delete. There are just none there. How can I clean this space up? I don't use the device backup for any of my devices nor my mac.
