Just reloaded OS to Mac OS Catalina 10.15.7. Canon MX535 prints but will not scan , says PC not connected. Any ideas?

Do not use the Canon app for scanning, please use Image Capture. IC is already pre-installed on your computer. Here is a link that help you a bit:

Which app do you use to scan, are you using Image Capture, if you are not, you should be.

Ah, Thanks, that doesn't seem to be here now I have reloaded OS. I suppose I need to find a reload for the Canon MX 535?
