Anyone know how to adjust the translucency of the clock in Big Sur in the Menu Bar?
I have two Macs - on one computer the clock shows just fine. On the other, the clock is extremely faint, and barely visible. I've looked through the settings and don't see a way to increase or decrease the brightness of the clock. I've looked in Dock & Menu Bar and don't see it there.
Is there any way to adjust brightness of the clock?

Clock is dimmed when "Do not disturb" mode is on.
It can change brightness during the day if "Do not disturb" mode is scheduled.
Option+Click on the clock disables/enables DND mode!

My problem seemed to be related to the Do Not Disturb setting. I disabled that and the clock brightness returned.
Try Option+click the clock to switch between high and low contrast mode.
I don't know the answer, but wanted to support you with this question - I'm having the same issue and I know it's annoying. Surely there are others who have it, it must be a bug. Dear people in apple-power, I know there is a lot in life to deal with, but please do something about it...
Isn't that just a solution while you click on the clock? As soon as I move my cursor away the clock is dimmed again. Is there a way to change the brightness more permanently?
It does stay brightened when I move away from the clock -- however, for whatever reason, it doesn't seem to last long, then I have to Option+click on the clock again if I want to brighten the clock.
