Contacts my profile picture.

When I set my own profile picture the picture disappears.

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. We understand you’re having issues setting your own profile picture. We’ll be happy to help with this.

For this issue, make sure iOS is up to date:

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Then force close the app and restart your iPhone:

How to force an app to close on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Restart your iPhone

Try selecting your picture once more after that. If you continue to have issues, try using a picture taken with your iPhone camera and try more than one photo.
