Change of country/region

I have accidentally changed the country/region and now it is asking me to cancel my appleTV+ subscription in order to change the country. Is there anything else I can do to fix this issue?

Thanks for reaching out to Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you’ve changed or started to change your Apple ID country but run into a prompt to cancel your Apple TV+ subscription. We’ll be happy to help.


If you have not followed through with the prompts to cancel the subscription, your region will not have changed yet. See if you can cancel or back out of the process. If not, restart your device: Restart your iPhone. We hope this helps.

I have not cancelled the subscription yet. When I go into APPS and try to download an app (for example Facebook) it comes up with a message box that says Account Not In This Store - your account is not valid for use in the U.S. store. You must switch to the Australian store before purchasing. Then when I go into settings to change the country/region it tells me that I have to cancel my subscription. I have restarted my iPhone and the problem is still there.
