Data transfer to new phone

When you follow the transfer procedure → Transfer data from your previous iOS device to your new iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support initially just data is (are) transferred, including system data and app data. Once that completes your apps are downloaded from the app store and your iTunes and/or Apple Music content is downloaded. If you have music from sources other than Apple on your phone you must sync that from iTunes or the Music app on your computer.

Can you do a few random checks / tests to ensure that the information may have been transferred correctly? What makes you believe that only part of the information / data was transferred?
