I keep seeing recurring apple.com/bill on my bank statements $5.29 and $2.99.... what is this for?

See this, If you see 'apple.com/bill' or an unfamiliar charge on your statement - Apple Support More than likely a subscription. See the section in the support document regarding cancelling a subscription.
