Having an issue with iCloud auto response. Box is checked, date range with correct date and written response. Clicked done and signed out... the auto response does not work. Help!

I properly set the settings for auto response on iCloud email from iCloud.com. I set the date range check the box that says automatically respond and then tested it by sending an email to the account. I am not receiving any auto response emails when testing. I know only one auto response is sent to each email in a 24 hour period so I tested with multiple accounts and iCloud auto response is not working. I would like to set the auto response at the root of iCloud.com and not rely on Apple mail Software to auto respond. Is there anything else I could try besides toggling the auto response on or off?

Never mind ... all auto responses were received but went to the junk folder of each account that I tested from. Well that feature might be useless if the recipient has email filters on : /
