PC WONT CHARGE IPAD

My Razer laptop can’t change my iPad however it does allow data transfer

i am wondering if there is any adapter / splitter on the market that allows one to charge the iPad by plugging it into an outlet while allowing it to also sync with computer???

Most computer USB ports, unless specifically designed to charge external devices, are unable to provide adequate power to charge an iPad.

Many computer USB ports are limited to 0.5A - 1A @5V (i.e., 2.5W - 5W). Most iPad models require at least 10-12W (2.0A - 2.4A @5V) to reliably charge.

A few options:

My iPad won't charge either if I connect it to my USB hub, which is connected to my iMac. But, just like you, it will synch through it. The solution here, would be to plug your iPad directly into one of your computer USBs.
Use the power adapter that came with your iPad. You can plug it in any wall socket and it will do the job (it does for me).
