Can't update firmware on AIRPOD PROS
I've tried updating by plugging in iPhone and AirPods pros and leaving them connected side by side - with the AirPods in their case and the cade open. Have left them overnight and nothing updates.
You have no further control on the AirPods firmware update.
I suggest keeping the iPhone on wi-fi while pairing the AirPods.
