Hi,
I dropped my 8th Gen ipad and smashed the screen. It was in full working order otherwise. After sending it for repair, I have received an email saying they will send me a replacement. Has anyone else had this?
My IPad is only 2 months old so Iām not happy about getting a refurb if thatās what they are sending 😔

Appleās standard practice for device exchange is to replace with a refurbished (ālike newā) device of the same model and specification as that being replaced. It is understood that if a refurbished device is not available within a reasonable period, then the replacement may be a new device.
Whatever they send it will have the balance of your warranty. Refurbished devices are tested and identical to a new device in all ways.
