Deleting a WIN 10 system protected file ?

I am an admin user for both Mac OS and Win 10 running virtually in Parallels. Bitdefender on Mac identified a virus in a very old system restore(2010) on the Windows partition drive. I have tried to set permissions both in Terminal and in Windows, but each time it says I don't have permission to delete the files even though as owner and admin it shows read/write permissions:

override rwxr-xr-x Username/staff for A0016504.rbf? y

rm: A0016504.rbf: Read-only file system

Mac-Pro-Office:RP21 Username$ sudo chown Username A0016504.rbf

chown: A0016504.rbf: Read-only file system

Mac-Pro-Office:RP21 Username$ ls -l A0016504.rbf

-rwxr-xr-x 1 Username staff 436552 Aug 29 2009 A0016504.rbf

by question is if I set ownership of the file to Root, will i be able to override the security features of win and mac that make this file read only file system? Is there a way I can get control of this directory. I believe it is from Windows XP or 7 it is so old. I'm running Win 10 in Parallels.

BTW, neither Windows Defender Security or Avast recognize the virus nor can they delete it.

No matter how you're running Windows, NTFS is read only to a Mac, so by default it's impossible for you to delete anything from a Windows volume via the Mac since that is a write operation.

In order to get write access to Windows from macOS, you'd need to install something like Paragon's NTFS for Mac (now owned by Microsoft).
