I forgot my password had to restore my phone keeps asking for my old password sorted one problem now another.

If you are restoring from a backup, apps that have been purchased with a different Apple ID will ask for that as differently mentioned above
Apps are FOREVER tied to the Apple ID they were downloaded under. If you have changed your Apple ID at some point, you either have to sign out of your current Apple ID and sign into your old Apple ID to update those Apps - OR, delete those Apps and rebuy/download them under your new ID.
Changing the Apple ID is not a good thing. Changing the Password tied to an Apple ID is the right thing.
Forgot what password? You need to explain exactly what you are trying to do and where it is asking for an old password.
